What is autoclavable? 

Typically, the following endo items can and should be autoclaved: 

• Contra head 

• File holder 

• Contrary electrode 

The following items are generally not autoclavable, but should be disinfected with disinfecting alcohol: 

• Cordless handpiece 

• Charger 

• Probe cord 

• Function tester 

Lubricating Endo Handpieces

Proper maintenance of your endodontic handpieces is extremely important.

YOUR ENDODONTIC HANDPIECES  WILL BECOME EXTREMELY CORRODED IF YOU DO NOT LUBRICATE THEM PROPERLY.
